KLAMATH County Abttract Company was founded in 1905 by
Joe Pearee end Allen Sloan. In 1 904 Don Zumwalt, Bert With
row and E. M. Bubb purchased the inlereit of Joe Pearce and
incorporated the company,
AS THE yean patted, Sloan and Bubb told their interett to
Zumwalt and Withrow, and in 1924 Elbert S. Veateh purchated
the entire stock of the company.
ON FEBRUARY 14. 1 924 Mrs. J. U. Babcoek joined the firm
and has been with it ever since.
IN 1 92 Klamath County Abstract Company became affiliated
with Pacific Title Insurance Co. of Portland, underwriters of
titte insurance policies . i . just one of the many steps the

company has taken to keep abreast of the times and to give
its customers the best service possible.
IN 19-44 Robert E. (Bob) Veateh returned from the service and
'joined the firm. In 1950 he was elected president and has held
that position ever since.
THE COMPANY was originally housed in the old Hall Hotel
Building and in August 1953 it moved to its present home in
the Murphy Building at 422 Main.
SINCE its founding mora than 50 years ago, Klamath County ;
Abstract Company has consistently endeavored to give its',
