her right leg in traction. It is

She will be unable to return to the
University ol Oregon until the

formerly of Chiloquin, has been
there visiting friends. He returns
to duty in Rhode Island mid-January.

Wood, is leaving Sunday for Portland where he is attending
medical college. He spent the holidays here with Mr. ond Mrs.

sworn into office Tuesday evening. Mayor Lelond Casey re
ceived his ooth for the third time. The (our new councilmen
who went into office are J. E. McCain, Dr. Phil Cole, Guy
Stoiger end T. R. Markdwordf. Mrs. Henrietta Markdwordt Is
treasurer and Art Pariaux is police judge ond city recorder.
