White leather address books for
each officer marked the places at
the refreshment tables and were
gifts from the outgoing queen. A
cornucopia filled with miniature
replicas of the memorable events
of the past term centered the ta
bles and arrangements of purple
and white pompons, purple can
dles, and purple paper streamers
lining the white covered tables, car
ried out the colors of the order.

song to the honored queen; set to
the tune "Memories" and special
gifts were presented to her during
the refreshment hour. I

MR. AND MRS. PAUL ALTORFER I Kathryn "Bidge" Wamp.
Ier, whose marriage in Reno First Methodist Church was re
cently announced. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Wamoler, Chiloquin; and her husband is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Altorfor, Bangor, Pennsylvania. Attendants were
Sue Seaholm and Gerald Tucker, bridegroom's friend from
Banqor, now living in Klamath Falls.
Bidge is a graduate of Chiloquin High School and at
tended Oregon State College for two years. Prior to the mar
riage'she had been living in Klamath Falls in an apartment
shared with Doralyn Parton, one of several hostesses at a re
cent shower for the bride. The new Mrs. Altorfer will continue
working at !he Klamath Machine and Locomotive - and Paul

Claus. The bride sat at a long lace
covered tnble laden with gifts from
nearly 80 friends in addition
to the hostesses. Assisting with the
gift opening were her mother, Mrs.
Paul Wampler; her grandmother,
Mrs. Olenna Briscoe; her niece.
Connie Wampler; and two of the
Klamath Falls hostesses.
Refreshments were served later
In the , evening and little Connie
Wampler drew prize-winning num
bers at the close of the evening.
Winners were Mrs. Paul Wampler,
Mrs. Albert Rossi, Mrs. Ray Van
Wormer and Mrs. Lorenz Vander-camp.
