Estes Kefauver in the race Two Quints In Hospital MONTREAL (fl Two of the Dionne quintuplets are patients in a suburban Monties! hospital where the other two surviving quints are taking nurses' training. They were all described yesterday as being "in a happy mood." Annette, who had been a student in a Niculet, Que., school, entered the Hospital Notre Dame de l'Es perance In VUle St. Laurent Dec. 3 for an examination. Marie was admitted Nov. 26 for treatment aft er leaving a Quebec City convent where she had been training as a postulant. Yvonne and Cecile al ready were training as nurses at the hospital. The fifth quint, Emllle, died last year. Hospital authorities refused to discuss the condition of Marie and Annette except to say they are suf fering from a nervous condition and need rest and privacy. One doctor Raid Marie was tired and a little weak when she en tered the hospital but added she is "much better now." He also said Annette needed rest when she was admitted. Dr. G. Cousineau, hospital medi cal director, said: "It is a perfect atmosphere tor them, united with their sisters. They are almost in a gay mood." The Tennessee senator says he'll Wilson Recalls Employe Order WASHINGTON (UP) Defense Secretary Charles E. Wilson has rescinded an order calling for a cut In Air Force civilian employ ment and has authorized an In crease Instead. Informed sources said yesterday that Wilson's action followed a vig orous protest by Air Force Secre tary Donald A. Queries, Wilson last fall ordered all the military services to reduce their civilian employment 6 per cent by next June. In a formal memorandum to Wilson, Quarles noted that this would require the Air Force to drop 18,000 persons. He said the Air Force needed more civilians because of its cur rent buildup and the present prac tice of replacing retiring military personnel with civilians wherever possible. In cancelling the order, Wilson authorized the Air Force to hire an additional 38,000 employes by next July.
