Letters posted in the box, containing the full name and address ef the young hopefuls, will be answered by Santa. More than 100 letter's were received at the North Pole headquarters over the November 25-26 weekend when the huge Santa and the mail box first- made their appearance. bwo Keoorts to - . . rJxTr:Z rr:. .ssrn.- -f ' - w v r BONANZA Hie Bonanza Worn ens Club met at the library on December 6. at 2 p.m. with presi dent Janet Fernlund In charge. The minutes of the previous meet ing were resd by Alta Dixon and the treasurer's report was given by Jeanette Stewart. The Langell Valley Womens club has Joined with the Bonanza club to help keep up the library build ing owned by the Bonanza club. A check for $80 from the Langell Valley club was given to be put In a special for Uneoleum for the library. Louis VanSipe donated plumbing labor at the library, and would not accept any pay so the club bought him a knife, Velda Haley, chairman of the an nual bazaar gave a report on total sales In each booth: and she and president Fernlund thanked mem bers for their help and cooperation Mrs. Haley was given a anlr of embroidered pillow cases from the club In appreciation of all her work. Various gift Items left over from the bazaar will be available for aala by contacting Mrs. Fernlund, Mrs. Florence Horn or Mrs, Cecil Haley. Mrs. Bob Brett's 4-H aewlng elsss the "Langell Valley Cij't-Ups" made a aet of tea towels: and Sydna Ketchum presented them to the club. She offered the girl's services to help the club at any time. After the business meeting a so elal hour and Christmas gift ex change was enjoyed. The presents were under the lighted Christmas tree. Mrs. Annie Cline, 4)1 years old, was given a special gift for bejng the oldest one jresent, and Bob Schmor for the young est. Prizes for the guessing con tests went to Cora Leavltt, Noma Bechdoldt, Elsa Rueck, Clara tjjld and Lillian Bechdoldt. Refreshment tables were decor ated with red napkins snd csdy canes. The meeting was callrd to order by president, Donna Freer. Jjdv Parker lead the 4-H and Hay pledge. Secretary, Bonnie Pierce called the roll and read the minutes of the last meet ing. The meeting was adjourned. The girls present were; Sharon Meyers, Loretta Sanders, Cheryl Thurman, Helen Hurlbut, Janelle Cooper, Judy Parker, Bonnie Pierce, Donna Freer, Sharon Owen, Iris Sloan, Sandra Sohrakoff, Mar gie James, Mary Oreen, and Kalhy Deurande. we decided to have Christmas party December 12 and voted on having secret pals while we ate our refreshments of cook les and kool-aide.
