HAMILTON AFB. California
The Air Force has lifted its tem
porary freeze on fiscal year 1856
active, duty tours nunioering 3331
for air reservists, it was announced
today by Maj, Gen. Robert B.

Force. i
Fourth Air Force, with head
quarters at Hamilton Air Force
Base. California, is responsible for
air reserve activities in the eight
Western states of California, Ore
gon, Washington, Idaho, Utah,
Montana, Arizona and Nevada.
Last year a total of 2,616 Fourth
AF olficcrs and airmen took ad
vantage of their training eligibility
for active duty tours. So far this
year, 914 have already received
such training, leaving a balance
of 2.417 active duty tours still
available to interested and eligible
reservists.
General Landry urged all Inter

Immediate application for their ac
tive duty training through their
nearest Air Keserve center. He
pointed out that reservists should
not wait until the last minute as
next year's quota will be determ

Plans Schedule
GETTYSBURG, Pa. Presi
dent Elsenhower moves today Into
his new office, with a growing
work schedule that probably will
take him to meetings of the Cab-
met and National Security Council
next wees.
Tomorrow Secretary of State
Dulles is due for two days of con
ferences on the foreign ministers
meeting at Geneva.
uuues is expected to make a
radio-TV report to the nation with
in a lew days, from either Gettys
burg or Washington. Elsenhower
won t take part in the broadcast,
the ,Whtte House said.
Meantime, tne President was
reported feeling fine as he con
tinued his convalescence from I
heart attack.
Press Secretary James C. Hag'
erty said there is "a very good
possibility" the President will meet
at Camp David early next week
with Cabinet and security council
members. -
Camp David is the presidential
retreat 20 miles from here In the
CatocUn Mountains. The President
Is expected to drive there, proba
bly remaining overnight.
The meetings would be too large
to be accommodated In the Presi
dent's new green-walled office,
loaned to him by Postmaster Law
rence E. Oyler and freshly refitted
with furnishings tailored to Elsen
hower s needs.
Present Indications are that he
will use the office for a while
mainly to receive official visitors.
Meetings with staff members and
conduct of other business will be
done at his country home.
Elsenhower took a 50-mlnute aft-er-lunch
naD yesterday, then took
a few practice strokes on his put
ting green. Later he conferred
with his chief assistant Sherman
Adams.
