of the Ku Klux Klan. ,
Attorney for the charter appli
cation was Samuel Green Jr., son
of the late Dr. Samuel Oreen of
Atlanta, Identified as a former im
perial wizard of the association
of Oeorgia Klans.
The charter for the Association
of Oeorgia Klan.i was revoked sev
eral years ago by Atty. Gen. Eu
gene Cook.

MIDLAND GRANGE

Midland Grange members are
still undecided on the location for
building a new grange hall. The
vote on a site at a meeting held
October 19 was 38 votes against
building a hall at Midland and 34
In favor. The membership accepted
a deed to the property where the
Midland Grange Hall burned sev
eral months ago.

the executive committee to start
proceedings on a cleared deed. A
letter was also read by the master
from State Grange Master Elmer
McClure. In regard to voting. A
"thank you" card was read from
Mrs. will Humpnreys.
There were 78 members present
for the meeting held in the Henley
Grange Hall.
The next meeting will be held
at the Henley Grange Hall, Novem
ber 1 at 8 p.m. There will be
election of officers.
The October 19 meeting was ad
journed with the silver drill.
