by a careless hunter while hunting

Lakeview, is getting along fine..
He is the son-in-law of Mr. and
Mrs , Biil Wells of Eastside. His
brother-in-law, Marvin Wells, has
taken over the management of the
Associated Gas while Diinkwater
is in the hospital.

Funderberg of Ashland came oyer
to Eastside and Lakeview with a
load of fruit last week and stopped
to visit her daughter, Mrs. Lee
O'Neil and family.
Bonanza Mr. and Mrs. John
Toner of Lebanon are visiting at
the homes of Mrs. Birdie Burk
and Mr. and Mrs. Benson Dixon
in Bonanza. Other visitors at the
Dixon home have been their daugh
ter, Mrs. George Simmons, and

From Japan The Rev. and
Mrs. Phil Rounds, missionaries to
Japan for the last five years, have
been houseguests of their former
college friends, the Rev. and Mrs.
Leif Maimin of Chiloquin. Both
ministers are affiliated with the
Open Bible Standard Church. The
Rounds were guesi speakers at the
Chiloquin Church last Sunday.
Chiloquin Mr. and Mrs. E. R.
Calloway, parents of Mrs. Roger
Wright Sr., with whom they nave
made their home, left recently for
Texas where they plan to spend
the winter with a sister who has
been recently widowed: During
their Slav in the south, Mr. and
Mrs. Roger Wright Jr., are living
with his parents. Mrs. Wright and
her son each" work a shift at the
service station at the Rapids on
U.S. 97 which the family took over
this summer. Wright Jr. Is com
muting to OTI where he iias start
ed a two-year course.
