No Doubt,In;His;Min(lJhis.Time !
This happy gentleman has just taken title to his '
seventh motor car.
And while he would probably have difficulty
recalling all the different makes and models he has
purchased through the years, there is one thing he
knows with absolute certainty: lie never Jell like this
before when he took the keys and madeor the open road.
' For this is his first Cadillac! And what a glorious
feeling it is to know he has chosen the "car of cars !
Gone are the doubt . . . and the worry ... and the
wonder. This time he knows he's right!
And how quickly the evidence will assemble in
support of his sentiment!
First of all, there will be the eloquent testimony of
the car itself its magnificent performance . . . its
marvelous comfort and ride ... and its incredible ease
of steering and handling.
And then, as he travels the boulevard, there will be
those quick glances of approval from his fellow motor

There will be no such disclosure
then. Murray Snyder, assistant
White House press secretary, said
flatly yesterday when newsmen
asked him about reports that the
President wauld announce his 1956
plans Saturday.
Republican chairmen from all 48
slates will confer with Eisenhower
here Saturday on GOP strategy
for the 1956 election campaign. The
word had been that some of them
were looking for the President to
come out for re-election.
The President himself has indi
cated strongly several times that
he will wait until perhaps spring of
1956 to announce his plans.
Eiscnnower has to work with
Congress one more session before
the nominating conventions next
summer. If he were to announce
now, either for or against a second
term. It would Jeopardize his
chances of getting his legislative
program through, his aides feel.
