approximately 40 friends invited to tpend the tea hour from 3 to 5 p.m..
with the charming visitors. , '
The countess and her teenage daughters arrived Augatt 24, and .
left the day after the tea to spend a few day with the Myers at their
summer home at Lake of the Woods. Alio vacationing with the Lorreines

came Archduchest Julian Katalin von Haptburg-Lorraine at the bride of
Archduke Albreeht of Hapiburg.torraine, father of the princesses. The
late Archduke Albreeht (uncrowned King of Auitrit-Hungery) was a
: colorful international figure.
Catherine Lorraine prefer! to be known limply by that name,
s and ii especially proud of her American citiienship, awarded her on May
3, 1955. She hat lived in San Franeiieo tince If SO and returned to her
position with picture distributing firm after the Oregon vacation.
Sari, 15, and Kathy, 13, at they are known to their schoolmates at
Convent, of the Sacred Heart in San Francisco, will continue their studies

Presbyterian Church. August 2 1. The bride is the former Margaret Eleine. Scholar, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Edward A. Scholar, 1847 Ivory. Bridegroom's pe'ents are Mr. and Mn. Glenn W. Stevens, Salem
and the marriage was of wide interest in both localities. - .
Margaret chose shades of pink from pale te deep touches of American Beauty rose for her
wedding colors. Her bridal dress wet pale pink lece aind accordion pleated nel and she carried a
striking cascade of pink rosebuds and shaded pink cymbidivms from the iilends.
Her attendants wore Americen Beauty rose lace and accordion pleated net dresses and pink
and carried American Beauty bouquets. Shades of pink were also effectively used in the church decor.
The Rev. Dele Hewitt reed the 4 p.m. service in the presence of a lerge gathering of friends
and relatival meny of them from out-of-town. .
Bob and Margaret went South for their honeymoon (destination unknown I, and are now at home
in Salem, where he is associated with his father in the Stevens Equipment Company. (See story on inside

THEIR NUPTIAL VOWS in Tulelake Community Presbyterian Church, August 21. united two well
known Tulelake families. The bride, formerly Joyce Elaine Larson, is the daughter of Mrs. Hildjr Larson!
and her husband, Harvey Greenbank. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Greenbenk.
The double-ring service wes read by the Rev. Marvis Keyier at 3 p.m.. before e baekg-ound of
orchid and white gladioli, lighted with orchid and white taperi In Cathedral candelabra.
She was gowned in heevy ivory latin, and carried a white orchid and itephenotli tied wilh white
streamers on a whit prayer book.
Joyce was given in marriage by a young ne'phew, nine year old Bobby Vance, Vancouver, Wash
ington, son of her brother, the Jale Eldon Larson. '
