died while visiting in the apart

on the assumption the death "was
caused by an illegal operation."

ment. Navy To Accept

naval spokesman said today the
carrier Forrestal's burned out pro
peller shaft bearings will be no
obstacle to the Navy's acceptance
of the ship.
"Like death and taxes, trouble
in new tninss is inevitable." said
Rear Adm. R. F. Stout, president
of the Navy Trial Board of Survey
and Inspection, which checked the
Forrestal's perlormance during
her sea trials this week.
The mechanical difficulties that
caused the giant new warship to
postpone her full power runs

short by two days "will be cor
rected and everything will be all
right I am sure," Stout told news
men. "There is a good probability"
