men" were busy here Monday
making last minute arrangements

earth" will be unloaded.
They are also making certain
' that the streets to the show
grounds are clear for the red wag

great portable, all-steel grand
stand trucks.
The circus will exhibit Tuesday
at 3:15 and 8:15 p m. In its all
new alr-ventllatcd tent, with doors
to the big top and the menagerie

1 p.m.

tive days on the American calen
dar. Nearly 200 tons of elephants ap
pear In the niagnilicent spectacle
"Mama's in the Park," an utterly
chRrmlng fnntasy In which bon
netted behemoths air trumpeting
offspring in gigantic baby carri
ages. To stage this massive pro
duction. John Ringling North im
ported 20 new baby elephants from
India and added to his already
vast adult herd.
The aerial spectacle this yeiir
features bevies of sultry beauties
revelling on high In a romantic
aura of South Pacific charm.
Beautiful Pinlto del Oro Is the
central figure of a stunning .sky
ballet whirling lo the lilting strains
ol "On Honolulu Bay."
The stirring patriotic finale, en
titled "Rainbow 'Round the World"
brings a final riot of color and
beauty to North's latest entertain
ment triumph.
In addition to producing the
four enchanting spectacles, North
composed all the music for them.
He also has brought a host of new
acts to thrill and amaze spectators
this year.
Outstanding among these are
the death slide by Tukeo Usui on
a wire stretching from the ground
lo the apex of the big top. and
Delia Canestrclll, who performs a
thrilling high ladder and rolling
globe number.
