nuptlal luncheon Thursday, Au
gust' 11, at the Vinema Hotel.

Saturday, August 20, at a Nuptial
Mass in St. Augustine's Church.

Vows Exchanged
LAKE VIEW In the presence of
their families on Sunday afternoon,
August 14, Mrs. Helen Van Rheen
Anderson, daughter of Mrs. James
A. Van Rheen. Medford, was mar
ried to Frank P. Hart, son of Mrs.
V. A. Hart, Lakeview.
The Rev. C. W. Julier read the
double-ring ceremony in front of the
fireplace in Mrs. Anderson's living
room.
The bride wore an Ice blue waltz
Icngth dress made with a full ny
lon net skirt and a bodice of re
cmbroldered Chantilly lace sprink
led with rhinestones. Her headpiece
was of lace and rhinestones and
she carried a white Bible centered
with a white orchid.
Mrs. Richard L. Evans of Burnt
Ranch, California, and Gerald Ley
va of Lexington, Oregon, were at
tendants. .
A reception from 3 until 6 p.m.
followed the ceremony with Mrs.
Glenn Smith, Mrs. Don Maxwell
and Mrs. Walter Bowne of Burnt

The couple left after the recep
tion for a wedding trip at Lake
Taltoe and will make their
home at Goldmohr Terrace in
Lakeview.

Burnett entertained with a dinner
at her home on August 10, In honor
of Mrs. Lester Leavitl's birthday.
Eleven year old Monte Burnett

ICyl Palmer, local manager for United Air Lines, and his in
terested audience is, from the left, Mrs. Palmer, their daughter,
Patti (Mrs. John F.) Tenvold, holding six months old daughter,
Lindsey Ann; and young Peter Linton, two and one-half, held
by his father, John Tenvold.
John Tenvold, an insurance broker in Palo Alto, took a
brief week off to drive his family to Klamath Falls for a visit
with the children's Grandparents Palmer. Picture was taken

MR. AND MRS. DAN McAULIFFE, Malin, announce the
engagement of their daughter, Ellen'Marie, to Jerry Smalley,
son of Mr. and Mrs. George Smalley, also of Malin.
Ellen is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and St.
Anthony's School of Nursing, Pendleton. She is presently
employed in the offices of Dr. E. Dietsche. Jerry is a graduate
of Malin High School, attended OSC; and served two years
in the army.

Tha Tenvolds left last Tuesday, and Mrs. Palmer leaves
Wednesday for Palo Alto for a few days' visit with them,
before Cy Palmer joins her next weekend when they will leave
for a month's vacation in the east. Much of their time will be
spent in Toledo, Ohio, with Mrs. ' Palmer's relatives; and his
sister in Kansas City. Tentative plans include a side-jaunt to
Louisianna,
Mrs. Tenvold was also with United Air Lines for five years
as stewardess before her marriage, and after her graduation
from Stephens College and nearly two years at University of
