ARLENE ANDERSON was given in marriage by her father,
he Rev. D. B. Anderson, former Klamath Falls resident, now of
San Gabriel, and her twin sister, Marlene, served as maid of
honor, when Arlene became the July bride of Ivan D. Trombley
in the San Gabriel Evangel Tabernacle.
Over 250 guests witnessed the ceremony uniting the son
of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Trombley, Baldwin Park, California, and
the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. D. B. Anderson in marriage.
After the Rev. Anderson gave his daughter Arlene in mar
riage, he and the Rev. E. J, Kumpe officiated at the double
ring ceremony.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Trombley have been at home, 14720
E. Clydewood Avenue, since August I.

BRIDGE PARTY
BONANZA Mrs. Owen Pepple
entertained with a bridge party at
her home in Bonanza Wednesday
at 1 o'clock. Dessert was served
before cards.
High prize for the afternoon's
play went to Mrs. Elvn Maxwell
and the traveling to Mrs. Merrill
Stewart. Others present were Mrs.
Cecil Haley, Mrs. Claude Bech
doldt, Mrs. Roy Pernlund, Mrs.
Birdie Burk and Mrs. Bill Bech-
doldt.
A "PLEASANT SUMMER SHOWER" for Margaret Scholer,
pictured back of the gaily decorated gift cart full of shower
packages. The picture was taken at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Floyd A. Boyd, 1315 Pacific Terrace, at the miscellaneous
evening shower given by Mrs. Boyd (representing her daughter,
Caroline, who is in Europe for the summer), Ann Henderson
and Sue Ramsby, July 28.
