Park Board Votes Funds
City park board Tuesday voted
to allow expenditure of S600 lor
lesurlacing of the boat launching
area across from Moore Park entrance.
Action was taken following a re
port by T. J. O'Hana, Bert Stott
and Bob Bonney. The park board
member, park superintendent ' and
park and recreation director said
enlargement of the approach to
allow cars and trailers space to
.swing off the highway and back
without interfering with highway
traffic, Is needed.
The committee suggested black-
topping as a means of correcting
displacement of rock by cars at
tempting to pull out of the launch
ing area. It further advised mark
ing the one channel into the lake
proper with bouys and dredging
