Death was attributed to a heart

Mr. and Mrs. Kerrlusn moved to
Ashland in August, 1921).
Mrs. Kerrigan was tha mrtlhAv
of 14 children, three of whom sur
vive in addition to her widower.
A daughter Mrs. Edward (June)

sons are Orville Wright, Beatty,
and Harry Wright, Chiloquln-. Also
surviving are 38 grandchildren,
41 great grandchildren, and two
half sisters, Mrs. Pansy Olds, Chil
oquin and Mrs. Viola Rugg of Ap-
juegtue, urcgon.
She was a member of the Meth
odist Indian Mission of Williamson
River.
Tentative plans for funeral ar
rangements are for graveside
services, at 10:30 a.m Thursday,
December 2 at the Wilson Ceme
tery, Williamson River with - the
Rev. Harvey Zeller officiating. Fu
neral arrangements are in charge
of the Litwiller Funeral Home,
Ashland.
DUNSMUIR Postmaster Wil
liam M. Welch announced last
week that Dunsmuir became the
distribution point for ell mail from
Medford south to the Siskiyou
County line, as of lat week.
Word was also received that
Greyhound buses will handle first
class mail and air mail between
an Francisco, Medford and inter
mediate cities according to notice
received by Mrs. H. L. Rubidouic,
Dunsmuir Greyhound agent. This
will result in a speedup of mall
service between here and San
Francisco of some four to five
hours.
A bigger load will be thrown
onto the Dusmuir Posi Office with
the new setup, as mail will be
sorted and sent on all trains and
buses In closed pouches, elimi
nating some of the work that was
formerly done on the train. Mail

light (trains No. 9, 10) and the
Cascade (trains 11 and lit, DU'
will only be handled as baggage
by baggage men.
This is all a part of the U S
Post Office's "Operation Air Lift,
ati experiment starteU a year ago
on orders from postmaster uen-
eral Arthur Summeriield. Welch
said. First class mail will be air
lifted on a space available basis
all up and down the Pacific Coast
li an elfort to streamline postal
service.
