Prime Minister Churchill says that
even as the Germans were sur
rendering in World War n, he
made plans to rearm them If the
Russians advanced further Into
Western Europe.
The veteran Prime Minister, 80
on Nov. 30, spoke anew of his long
time distrust of the Soviets at .1
birthday rally last night. He told
the crowd:
"Even before the war ended,
and while Germans weie surrend
ering by hundreds of thousands.

directing him to be caieful In col
lecting German arms and to stack
them so that they could easily be

ward today as the Soviet govern
ment announced it would give a
state funeral In Red Square to the
late deputy foreign minister and
chief Soviet delegate to the United
Nations.
Informed sources said the an-'

York Monday alter a heart attack.
