Look Magazine to the Roscburg
Veterans Hospital, A donation was
also made to the Tri-Clty Ambu
lance project by the Auxiliary. A
one year subscription to the Her
ald and News was sent to Kenneth
Green, local boy, who Is In Port
land In the T.B. Hospital.
Mrs. Ray VanMeter headed the
committee appointed to pack box
es of homemade candies for the
service boys overseas. Other Maltn
boys In the service, but stationed
m the states will be sent boxes
later.
A report was made on the sup
per served during the VFW Potato
Queen elimination dance; and the
district meeting held In Klamath
falls October 17, was reported

Mrs. Waller Stastny, who had at

Auxiliary president, Blanche
Beldralne, announced that at the
next meeting, November 8. Mary

make her official visit and Inspec
tion, she urged all the members to
attend this Important meeting.

MALIN Prosperity Soclol Club
met at the home of Mrs. A. E.
Street Thursday evening. October
28. Mrs. Mervyn Wilde, president,
was in charge of the business
meeting, during which plans were
made for n guinea dinner similar
to that held last year.
Food committee chairmen were
appointed for the dinner and the
menu was planned. A definite date
was not set but Is expected to be
held sometime after the first ol
the yenr. The committees will
meet soon with a Masonic com
ml'teo to make final arrange
ments. Reports were Riven on Uie two
recent food sales handled by the
club and members voted to turn
tho money over to the Masonic
Lodge for necessary work on the
Masonic Hnll kitchen.
