Russian Jets Down U.S.
Plane Over Northern Japan

fort, disappeared Oct. 7, 1952, in
the same general area as yester
day's incident. Japanese fishermen
later said they saw Russian

buzalng with activities for the past
two or three weeks.
Student body officers have been
elected as follows: Jackie Barry,
president; Oeorge Hodges, vice
president; Katherlne Ahern, sec

ler, Bocial chairman. Rue Dean
