their Golden Wedding Annfversary..
The cloth, like their friends, has worn well 'Now in its fiftieth year in their possession,
the treasured linen has acquired-added value as a record, inscribed in permanent gold ink
with a multitude of names a lasting testimonial to enduring friendships.

MRS. HOMER DIXON . . . who will soon be on her way by
rail and air to Germany where she will join her husband,
Sgt. Dixon, stationed with the 1st Division near Frankfort.
Mrs. Dixon plans to land in Germany about November
10; in ample time for the couple to observe their first wed
ding anniversary.
She is the daughter of Mrs. Noma Phillips, now living in
Vancouver; and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benson Dixon,

children was the Earl Mack home,
on the Spring Lake Road. Mrs.
Bakman and James from Fresno;
and John, from Coos Bay.
The tablecloth, shown in the pic
ture, was signed in gold by guests
at the October 19th party, given
by postal employes and Klamath
County Postmasters. At the Sun

the parish hall in Langell Valley,
the evening of October 36, tor Don
na Dixon, bride-elect of Martin

ered table at one end of the room.

ing night of the 1954-55 concert season last Wednesday
it the Pelican Theater.
Probably the greatest cultural advantage offered Basin
residents, this Klamath Falls Community Concert Association
program annually brings to loealites some outstanding talent
in the fiefd of music. . -
Wednesday's listing featured three outstanding vocalists,
Pierrette Alarie, soprano; Leopold Simoneau, tenor; Theodor
Uppman, baritone, tha Columbia Bel Canto Trio. Each has
had brilliant success in the operatic and concert fields. Indi
vidually and in combination, the vocal artists presented a
rewarding program for the receptive audience locally.
