The Lost River Grange will skip
its next regular meetine October
27 to attend the Oregon State
Grange Conference to be held on
that date at the Midland Grange
Hall starting with a potluck supper
at 6:30. All grange members in the
county are uraed to attend this
conference.

Death Claims
Former Resident
Word was received here by Mrs.
Fred Ervin. 948 Prospect, of the
death of Mrs. Myrtle Kays at the
home of Mrs. Kays' daughter, Mrs.
Georce (Helen) Dye, Box 60-A,
Fort Bragg, California. Mrs. Kays
was about 62.
Mr. and Mrs. Kays had made
their home in Klamath Falls for
many years where be was a shlng-
ler and roofer. They moved to
Grants Pass about 10 years ago
and he died there.
In addition to her daughter, Hel
en, survivors Include three other
daughters, Mrs. R. L. (Irma) Bar
rett of Grants Pass, Dora, who
lives in California, and Harriet at
Anchorage, Alaska.
Funeral services will be held at
Ifort Bragg on Friday.
