Honored The University of
Oregon Medical School has been
selected by the editors of The Pre
scriber, far western medical jour
nal, lor the first in a series of
articles on western medical edu
cation. The Oregon story is told in
the current issue, now being
mailed to 30,000 physicians in the
11 Western states, Alaska and
Hawaii.' The article was prepared
by the university and features a
large two-page map of the medi
cal school's expanding campus in
Portland.

Hold Meeting

evening's meeting of the Merrill
Lions Club at the Spud Cellar.
President Harold Hendrickson pre
sided. Several reports on the progress
of the Potato Festival were given.
Dance chairmen Alonzo Hodges
and Don Crawford asked for vol
unteers to help at the Queen's
Ball Saturday evening. O. V.
Reeves reported on the progress
of plans for the Jackpot Rodeo
to be staged during the festival.
The rodeo will be held at the club
grounds located two miles north
of Merrill on the Hill Road, and
is open to all comers.
Wallace F. Bennett, senator
from Utah, was announced as thee

banquet on Friday evening, Octo
ber 22.
