Impresario Baldy Evans has booked Russ Morgan and his talented aggregation of musicians and
singers for a one-night stand. The maestro comes here after sensational engagements at the
Edgewater Beach Hotel, Chicago; Biltmore Hotel, New York and the Shamrock Hotel in Hous
ton, Texas.

dancer Fred Astaire's 46iyoar-old
Wife.
Phyllis Livingston Potter As
talre, the dancer's wife for 21
years, died In their Beverly Hills
home yesterday after an Illness
of several months. Astalre Was by
her side.
Mrs. Astalre was a wealthy
young Park Avenue socialite when
she and the nimble performer were
married in New York In 1933. She
had divorced Ellphalet Nott Potter
II. a broker, in 1932 after a five-
year marriage.
She remained In the background
during her husband's career In
