Jo Ann Buswell, vivacious brunette daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. A. M. Buswell, 155 East Main Street, became the
bride of Jerry E. Overen, Grants Pass; former resident of
Klamath Falls, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Overen,
3703 Summers Lane, August 15, in the Zion Lutheran
Church. The Rev. Richard Graef officiated at the 2 p.m.
ceremony, during which the bridal couple received Holy
Communion.

HER FIRST AIRPLANE TRIP ... was the occasion for an informal "bon voyage" party
honoring Mrs. H. F. (Effiel Tolle, seated.
She was 80 July 22, and left August 1 8, for Cleveland, Ohio, to spend the winter with
her daughter, May (Mrs. John Larson Jr.)..
With her, are daughters, Mrs. Paul D. Lewis, (Audrey) Merrill, and Gertrude Tolle, pic
tured at the latter'j home, 20 1 8 Auburn, during the open house when about 50 friends
called.
She was accompanied on the trip east by her grandson, John Larson 3rd, who had spent
the summer in Oregon; part of it with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and his aunt,
Gertrude. .
They boarded the United Airlines plane for Portland at Eugene, where they visited brief
ly with Mrs. Tolle's grandson, Lloyd Lewis and family.

played two accordion solos.

helped her open her many gilts.
A beautiful cake baked and dec
orated by Violet Harris centered
the refreshment table, and was
cut and served by Ruth Galloway.
Mrs. Ray Davis was at the collee
urn; and Mrs. Evelyn Galloway
served the punch. Both are aunts
of Elna.
