ming party on August 16 for her
son Garv who was 9 years old.
After swimming the boys were
served birthday cake and other re
freshments. Present were Gary
Randall, Irving Elfstrom. Monte

and Ben Brown.
Clarence King. Klamath Falls,
spent the weekend fishing on
Sprague River.

A color scheme, of white with shades of light pink to
dark .rose was used by Carol George, attractive August
bride, for her wedding to James Edmonds Creswell in Mt.
Laki Community Church last Sunday.
Before an altar decorated with bouquets of white glad
ioli, chrysanthemums and white tapers, the Rev. William
Ainley officiated at the 6 p.m. double-ring marriage service
uniting the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loren W. George, Hill
Road, to the son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Creswell, Wey
erhaeuser District.
Mrs. Samuel Mushcn, or
ganist, accompanied .Diane
Oldenburg, vocal soloist.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a gown of ivory
satin, simply designed. The close
ly-fitted bodice was made with
lon? sleeves pointed at the wrists
and a roll collar. The lull skirt
was of tapered pleats flowing into
a graceful train, and a headpiece
of imported French roscpoint lace
touched with seed pearls held her
tulle veil. White roses were the
flowers chosen for the bridal bou
quet, complementing the creamy
tones of her ivoiy gown.
Mrs. Garret D. Hilynrd, sister
of the bride, was matron, of honor.
She, and all Uie other nttendants
wore dresses or white taffeta,
waltz length, with Empire waist
lines and very full skirts. All
carried crescent shaped bouquets
of glamclliums; shading from the
light pink carried by bridesmaid,
Ruth George, also sister of the
bride: through the darker shades
carried by other bridesmaids. Ella
Beardsley, bride's cousin; and Col
leen Creswell. sister of the bride
groom; to the deep rose of the
matron of honor's bouquet.

pink hat and corjage.
About 200 guests drove from the
Mt. Laki Church to Klamath Falls,
where they were received in the
First Presbyterian Church parlors.
