The Fort Rock Grange youth

family Saturday July 17, at the
grange hall was well attended.
Mrs. Maurice Ward, Teresa and
Marilyn and Mrs. Buster Baughn

truck. A welding spark ignited a

to wash parts. Fred Wright was

the blaze. Maurice Ward, Burton
Brown and Andy Hergcrt assisted
and there was very little aamage.
Fred extinguished the blaze with
a new can of pyrene which he had
purchased the day before. Had the
fire taken nolo it couio nave wiyeu
out the town of Fort Rock as there
was a strong south wind blowing at
the time.
Mrs. Nick Klerk was a visitor
at the Fort Rock Bible school Wed
nacriov nftprnnfin and treated the
children to candy from Holland.
She aiso showed some uuicn qohs
and pictures from Holland. Her vis
it was very timely as the children
are studying about the children
from other parts of the world.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Shaver. Bend,
visited Saturday, July 17, wit hMr.
and Mrs. Chub Frazee and their
son Sam who Is spending the sum
mer here.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mattis wish

helped clean up the little cabin that
