Pastor Plans New Services
The Rev. N. A. Winegarden, In
terim pastor of Bible Baptist
Church, has announced plans lor a
special feature at each Sunday
evening service July 25 through
August 13.
July 25 will be children's night.
Special musical numbers will be
presented by David Cassel, Patty
Broyles and Levah Carter.
Children will be in charge of
ushering. There will by scripture
reading, prayer and testimonies
from several of the 20 campers
who recently returned from the
Rogua Union Baptist Bible Camp.
In keeping with the other spe
cial features of the evening, the
pastor will speak on the subject,
Children of God."
August 1 is designated youth
night. Youth of the church, di

Tested Men."
Everyone is invited to attend
each of these hour-length services,
held at 7:30 p.m. each Sunday at
the church, 2244 Wiard.
Gun Club Plans
Seed Harvest
The annual bitterbrush seed har
vest will be held Saturday and
Sunday, sponsored by the Mount
Shasta Rod and Gun Club. The
Klamath-Modoc chapter of the
izaak Walton League is cooperat
ins in the harvest. '
Approximately 200 'Boy Scouts
from the area are expected to
participate in gathering the seed.
A good turnout will insure an
ample supply of seed for planting
lor the winter deer range.
After It is gathered, the seed Is
frozen and processed for planting
later in the season, according to
C. A. Wheeler, of Mount Shasta.
The seed harvest will be con-
ducted just off Highway 97 near
the Southern Pacific Andesite sid
ing. Signs will be placed to mark
the location.
