Fravda's editorial was chiefly a
blast at the United States. It men
tioned Britain and France only
briefly.
The editorial said the Geneva
agreement banning foreign mili
tary bases in Viet Nam "deals a
blow to the plans of American ag
gressive circles, which were count
ing on the Inclusion of South Viet
Nam plus Laos and Cambodia In
an aggressive pact and creation

against the countries of the Demo
cratic camp."
The paper claimed the United
States was defeated in efforts to
block future elections in Viet Nam

Day Planned
Field day on the Klamath Ex
perimental Station will be held
Monday July 26 starting at 1:30
p.m., according to A. E, (Gene)
GroJs, superintendent.
First on the tour of the experi
mental plots will be those on the
main station, vest of the Klamath
Airport. Here will be shown ex
perimental work on grasses and
legumes in pasture mixtures, in
hay trials and in observational
tests. Crop rotation studies will be
a part of thU tour. Continuing ex
periments on alkali reclamation
and new soil moisture studies will
also be shown.
Later m the afternoon the tour
will move to the muck soil ex
perimental area near W o r d e n
where minor element and other
fertilizer responses on peat soils
will be observed. Here also will be
shown additional experiments with
grasses and legumes; cereal vari
ety trials, sugar beets and pepper
mint. Farmers and other interested
persons are extended a cordial in
vitation to attend, Gross stated.
