3, at the Bible Standard Church.
The eight o'clock single l ing serv
ice was read bv Rev. David Sutton.
Baskets of pluk and white gladioli
and large candelabra of tall white
tapers banked the archway to com
plete the decorations.
The bride, given in marriage by
her grandfather, wore a white slip
per satin gown fashioned with tight
bodice trimmed with seed pearls.'
hiirh neckline, long sleeves tapered
over the hand; and a full skirt fall
ing Into a long train, Her veil of
illusion net was floor length, held
in place by a halo of seed pearls
and lace and was decorated with
the same seed pearl embroidery as
on the gown. She carried a white
Bible on which was placed a white
orchid and long streamers of satin.
Maid of honor for her cousin was
Desta Cabatan, Redding, who wore
pink net trimmed with rows of nar
row net ruching bordered with the
faintest edge of black. She wore
rhinestone jewelry and a radiantly
happy smile as she had received
a diamond engagement ring that
evening. She. carried a bouquet ol
pale pink gladioli.
Bridesmaids lor their school
friend were Dona Clark, Sue Sea
holm and Sharon Zadina, all of
whom wore blue ballerina frocks,
rhinestone necklaces and carried
bright pink gladioli bouquets.
Tiny three year old flower girls
were Cheryl Bodncr. Spiague RIv
er, niece of the bride, and Karen
Sutton. The girls wore wide skirted
long frocks of white with rounded
necklines, scalloped collars, sashes
and white shoulder length net veils
handed with lace and held by a

Best man was Vince Bodner Jr.,
Sprague River, brother-in-law of
the bride. Ushers were Arlcn Da
vid, brother of the bridegroom:
Kirk Curran, Redding, brother of
the bride; and Errol Hatcher.
Planis'. was Norma Brown; and
soloist 'was Mrs. Preston Smith,
who sang "A 1 w a y s" and "Be
cause. ".Both were from Klamath
Falls.
The bride's mother, Mrs. Lee
Curtis, Reno, came north for the
ceremony and wore a grey and
white .dress with white accessories
and a pink rose corsage.
The bridegroom's mother, Mrs.
David, wore a pink lace dress with
matching accessories and a rose
bud corsage.
Following the ceremony, a recep
tion was held at the Chiloquin
Youth Center where a long re
freshments table was topped by a
huge heart outlined with tiny
bunches of rhododendron and other
summer fiowers. A large four
tiered wedding confection topped
with a miniature of the heart out
line and with a 'tiny bride and
bridegroom centered the table.

Mrs. Walter Schmidt, the bride's
grandmother, who made and decor
ated the cake, and the bride's two
sisters, Mrs. Vince Bodner Jr., and
Mrs. Naomi C u 1 1 r e 1 1, both of
Sprague River. The bridesmaids
helped serve guests and the maid
of honor registered the guests.
For her going away ensemble the
bride chose a white dress with navy
accessories and she wore her or
chid at the shoulder. The couple
will live In Chiloquin following the
trip to an unannounced destination.
The new Mrs. David lived this
past year in Sprague River where
her sisters and her father. Bill
Curran. live. The bridegroom, a
Chiloquin graduate, attended Ore
gon Slate College before being em
ployed at Klamath Agency.
In addition to the many Sprague
River and chiloquin area guests,

FORT KLAMATH The regular
monthly meeting of the Woman's
Society of Christian Service of the
Fort Klamath Community Metho
dist church was held Thursday af
ternoon July 8, when Mrs. Stewart
Nicholson was hostess to the group
at her home at the Nicholson
ranch.
During the business session con
ducted by the president, Mrs. Ray
mond S. -Loosley, plans wcr dis
cussed for the annual church din
ner sponsored by the WSCS, and
the date of Saturday evening, July
31, was set. It will be served In
the C. I. clubhouse. Although do
nations and assistance will be wel
comed, contrary to previous cus
tom, this year only church meni:
bers will be called upon to contri
bute food items and to help with
preparations and serving. Non
churcn members who wish to offer
their donations or services in any
capacity may do so by contacting
either Mrs. Raymond S. Loosley or
Mrs. Ira Orem.
Construction is well underway on
the church-sponsored community
