A similar arrangement was on
the piano.
The bride recited her vows In a
gown sire made herself of slipper
mi tin topped will) lace. The sun oi
lace over satin featured a long
train. The badlce buttoned to the
waist and had a small peter pan
collar, also of lace. Long sleeves
came to a point over her wrists.
A fingertip length veil was se
cured to scalloped shell type
headpiece with seed pearl trim.
The bride carried a single white
orchid with purple throat which
rested on a white Bible, a gradua
tion gift from her maternal grand
mother. Streamers knotted with
sicphanolls were attached to the
orchid.
Mrs. William Hamilton, organist,
played the processional and re
cessional and accomoanlcd the so
loist, Ronnie Bryan, who sang
"Tifrougii the Years" and the
"lord's Prayer."
Tne bride was given In marriage
by her father. She was attended
by Mrs. Curtis Lockrem, matron
of honor, who wore a walls length
gown of yellow colored net with
satin ooaicc toppca witn a row oi
pleated net. The brief lace Jacket
wasv .designed with capped
sleeves and mandarin collar. Her
bouquet was a cascade arrange
ment of yellow and lavender I
daisies and she wore a matching
headband.
Bridesmaids were Shirley Ander
son and Lillian Stiles, sister of the
bridegroom. Their dresses wcro
identical in style to that of the
matron of honor. Shirley's gown
and flowers were lavender col
ored; Lillian's were green.

rose petals in the bride's path.
8he wore a pink dress similar In
style to those of the senior at
tendants. Monte Brollier, young
brother of the bride, carried the
rliiRs on a pillow made by Mrs.
Ray Dlngman.
Rlchnrd Lund.sten served as
best man; Dick Parker and Larry
Lund ushered.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Brollier wore a navy suit
with white collar, a white hat with
navy trim, white purse and blue
shoes. Her corsage was of email
red rosebuds.
The senior Mrs. Stiles wore a
navy suit with white trim also. Her
accessories were pink and a cor
sage of small pink rosebuds was
pinned at her shoulder.
"Something old" for Karen was a
handkerchief carried by her moth
er when she was married: "some
thing new" was the bride's dress:
her veil was borrowed: "blue"
was a garter given her by Shirley
Anderson and In her shoe was a
penny.
Follow ing the ceremony the Jiew
Mr. and Mrs. Stiles received
guests in the church parlors where
Mrs. Joe Zaroslnskl. Lois Balliet
and Mrs. Edward (Cwen Balliet)
Barron cut and served the wed
ding cake. Mrs. Floyd Stone and
Mrs. Kenneth (Betty Redfleld)
Young poured punch: Mrs. Don
(Wanda Carson i Anderson had
charge of the guest book.
Later the bride changed to a pink
and gray suit with white accessor
ies and wore the orchid from her
wedding.
Young Stiles Is a graduate of
Klamath Union High School with
the class of 1953 and Is employed
at Northrop Aircraft Co. In Los
Angeles, California, where the
couple is living.
Birthday Dinner

ner in honor of Mis. O. C. Wells
and Dick Pepple was held at the
People home in Klamath Falls on
June 9. Beautiful cakes were on the
dining table. Present were Mr. and
Mrs. Dick Pepple, Pamela and
MlcheUe Pepple, Mr. and Mrs.
Owen . Pepple and Ted Pepple.
Mrs. O. C. Wells, and Ruth Peyton.
PINK, WHITE AND PALE GREEN . . . were the colors chosen
for the early June wedding in Zion Lutheran Church of
Gloria Hoefler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Hoefler, 3121
Crest Avenue; to Boyd Tavernier, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.
Tavernier, Milesville, South Dakota. White gladioli and green
ery was the effective background for the traditional whit
satin gown worn by the bride, escorted to the altar by her
father, who gave her in marriage. The long sleeved gown wat
made en-train and designed with seed pearl encrusted cut
out detail circling the round neckline. A heart-shaped effect
was achieved in the halo, of lace and seed pearls holding the
fingertip veil of illusion. She carried a white orchid on
prayer book.
Her sister, Wanda Hoefler, was maid of honor, in full
length pink net over taffeta, and carrying pink and whit
daisies. Clarenc Welch, cousin of the bride, wore green and
carried yellow ana' white daisies.
The Rev. R. E. Graef was officiant at the 2 p.m. cere
mony. Roger Tavernier served his brother as best man; and
Loy Welch, bride's cousin, ushered.
Mrs. Hoefler wore a navy blue ensemble with whit ac
cessories and a corsage of pink roses. The senior Mrs. Tav
ernier chose aqua with white accessories and her corsage
was also of pink roses.
At the reception in the church parlors, Mrs. Sarah Michael
and Mrs. Verland Huff poured; Mrs. B. M. Welch cut th
cake; and Mrs. Roger Tavernier assisted. For tha wadding trip
north, Gloria wore a navy blue suit with red accessories. Th "
