AL WHITE, nationally known diver, will bo one of the fea
ture attractions at the June 19 dedication of Klamath Falls'
. new municipal swimming pool. The aquatic show is sponsored
by the Toketee Lions Club and will bring a troupe of swim
ming experts to the pool for a free show at Z:30 in the after
noon on that day and again at 7:30 in the evening. Seats will
be installed for the convenience, of spectators. Theme of the
shew will be Hawaiian Hospitality.

Sauvie Island. Since May 5, 19 of
these hens have been recovered at
the wood duck nesting boxes, and
It of them have returned to the
same nesting box used last Tear.
Any doubts as to the suitability of
the artificially constructed home
sites should be dispelled by this
observation.

their nests. Bens are sitting on a
clutch of eggs averaging 12 to 14 in
size. Already 162 of the nest boxes
axe in use by wood ducks, and it is
expected that others of the 350 in
place on the two islands will be
used before the season is over. A
couple of barn owls have set up
housekeeping in one of the houses,
and flying squirrels, bees, sparrow
hawks, and tree swallows are using
others.
Stolen Plane Wreck Found
ALBANY, Ore. I. An airplane
stolen from Eugene six years oiio
was found wrecked in tho Cascade
Mountains east of here Monday
with the skeletal remains of one
or more persons inside.

to try to Identity the person or
persons killed in the crush.
The man who was accused of
stealing the plane on May 33. 1948,
was William D. Bousquet, 34. Eu
gene, who has not been seen since.
