formed the basis for organised re
lief which this country had during
depression days. He roamed the
hobo Jungles In tattered clothes
"to get to the root of unemploy
ment" and took his finds and gave
them to Uie national government.
He suggested establishment of
camps for migrants, homes for
JuvenUe delinquents and a broad
based relief plan.

arrived here Wednesday after
two years of duty en Guam,
Mervyn has been discharged
from the Navy following his
enlistment in 1951.

Jury last night of neglect.
The man to whom the 46-year-old
woman was accused of send
ing her daughter was "Papa" Joe
Cremall, 67, operator of a reputed
house of prostitution, Crematl re
cently was , convicted of rape In
the same case.
The child was found In Crematl's
house laat January In police raid.
Neither her name nor that of her
mother ha ever been published
