Construction got under way this
morning on a new lli story addi
tion to Oregon Food Store No. 3,
44M South Sixth Street, that will
tlve 60 by 100 more feet of floor
space for the expanding butlnoss
that has outgrown present quar
ters. The announcement was made
by Mra. Nellie Angstead, general
manager of the three . Klamath
Falls stores.

the east aide of the original
store built In 1K0.
Plans have been made to meet
the growing public demand for
more service under one roof.
The variety and housewares de
partments will be moved to the
new addition .The self service meat
department will be enlarged and

available. This depaitment Is to be
moved to a more advantageous
place in the building. The (roien
foods department will be enlarged
and the grocery departments mod
ernised. A "Los Anseles display win
dow, new to Klamath Falls grocery
stores. Is planned. A canopy will
tie the new and present units to
gether. More parking space, 'will give
a U by 100 foot paved area on
both aides of the store. Offices will
