Hew Cabinet
Vote Crisis
PARIS Ml ' Parliamentary ob
servers expect Premier Joseph
Lanlel's government to win a N
tlonal Assembly vote of confidence
tomorrow unless the besieged In'
dochlna fortress of Dien Btcn Phu
falls to-the Vletminh rebels In the
meantime.
Lanlel told the Assembly last
night It would have to look for a
new government or postpone de
mands for a debate on Indochina
beginning May 14. When deputies,
Including some of his own sup
porters, persisted In their call for
the debate, the Premier made the
Issue one of confldenoe In the
Cabinet. . ' . ,,
This would require the govern
ment's resignation if the Assenv
bly docs not uphold Its demand
for a postponement of the dis
cussion.
Lanlel's chances of survival
looked good -today. Few of the
deputies wanted to risk a govern
ment crisis at a time when the
fate of Dien Bien Phu was in the
balance, and when the Geneva
talks on peace in Indochina were
about to start. - ;
But if Dien Bien Phu should fall
to the Communist-led rebels be
fore the vote, most observers felt
sure the Cabinet would collapse
too. That would pull the rug out
from under France's delegation at
Geneva.

28th Year
By RUTH KING
The Klamnth Millwork and Sup
ply Company, 616 Spring Street,
grew and grew In 28 years from a
little 'unpamted. two-man crew
plant to the present, imposing,
prosperous, business that employes
10 men the year 'round.
Started in 1926. It has weathered
the good years and the not so good
ana is' right m there pitching,
turning out :a carload of lumber
per week, milled into 25.000 to
50,000 small pieces for window
frames, door, lrsmes, cabinets and
other detail work for builders
across the country. That means a
million board feet of lumber an

Any pattern ordered can be

Most of the window frames are
assembled for shipment and that
necessitates handling several
times. The work is largely ac

that put on even the finishing
touches.
Carloads of the finished products
are now shipped to many parts of
the U.S. with Texas a good mar
ket. One carload went to Massa
chusetts' recently.
Pine is used exclusively.
The fragrant piles of sawdust
are sold to mest markets and ga
rages. Robinson taught woodworking In
high school for four years then
went Into the contract woodwork
ing business.
Both he and Mrs. Robinson arc
active In church and civic affairs.
Two months ago they sold the
Moulding C r a f t. Incorporated,
which they had also operated for
some time, to Klamath Falls resi
dents, Mr. and Mrs. O. Clifton
Baxter.

son include M. C. Anderson, form
er foreman of the Moulding Craft
dlvtsion-of the business; Winfield
