meet In a ten round main event on
Friday night's boxing card at the
Armory.
Byrne has appeared In Uie local
spotlight twice before, and has
demonstrated plenty of class for
Uie short time Ihst he had an op
ponent. In his first battle, he knocked
out Al Winn, of Vallejo, Califor
nia, in the second round, and in
Uie second showing he hung a TKO
win over Roger Smith, when the
Frisco Negro suffered a bad cut
over his left eye, this also was in
Uie second round.
