ler, guests of the sergeant'! father
Donald D. Fuller and Mrs. Fuller,
at the Alpha Apartments. They
visited also at the home of Mrs.
W. P. Myers on Lakcshore Drive.
Tile sergeant, overseas for the
past three years, serving with the
U.8. Air Force, brought back an
attractive red-haired bride of a
month, from Mansfield, Notting
ham, England.
Mrs. Puller served In the Wom
en's Royal Air Force In the com
munication department. The
young couple met at a dance at
the Sculthorpe Air. Base and ro
mance Immediately entered the
life or the aergeant.
Mrs. Fuller lived in the area that
waa heavily bombed during World
War II but her home escaped In
Jury. She "went to London to see the
Queen," the day after the corona
tion ceremonies and saw the young
monarch.
Mrs. Fuller was amazed at the
site of America as she crossed It
by automobile from the eastern sea
coast. Fuller, whoe home Is at Day
ton, Ohio, will be stationed at
Travla Air Force Base, in Cali
fornia.

Saturday night after being struck
by an automobile as he crossed a
downtown Pendleton Intersection.
The driver ol the car was not
