LANGELL VALLEY The reg
ular monthly meeting of the Lan
frcll Valley Farm Bureau was held
at the community hall April 20,
with chairman Ben Nork in charge
of the business meeting. Vic Doug
las and Jim O'Donobue of J. W.
Kerns showed slides and talked on
the control of nemetode (eel
worm). Santford Johnson showed
slides be had taken on his trip to
Alaska.
The next meeting will be May
18. Douglas and O'Donohue will
show pictures on game conserva
tion, representing the Isaac Wal
ton League." A representative will
be appointed from this center to
go to Reno the first part of June
for a Farm Bureau School.
The control Board of the Langell
Valley Community Hall and the
Langell Valley Farm Bureau wish
to thank everyone for the cash do
nations they, have received toward
fixing up the community hall and
all those who gave so generously
of their time when the remodeling
was being done on the hall. Mrs.
Nork served refreshments at the
close of the evening.

Holds Meeting
LANOELL VALLEY The
Guild of St. Barnabas church met
at the home of Mrs. Wes Dearborn
the afternoon of April 22. Presi
dent Dale Smelcer was in charge
of the business mooting. The ladles
are making a complete layette to
be sent to Japan. Following the
meeting the ladles sewed and en
joyed a social afternoon.
Delicious refreshments were
served at 4:30 by the hostess, to
