A native of Pennsylvania, the
Rev,' Larson did his preparatory
work at Worcester Academy, Wor
cester, Massachuseltes; attended
Dickinson College, Carlyle, Penn
sylvania; did undergraduate work
at the School of Foreign Service.
Georgetown University, Washing
ton, O.C. Following this he entered
the Navy, in 19U, and served for
three years.
Later the Rev. Larson entered
the international trade field on the
Atlantic seaboard and In Oulf pons
He nas also lectured at the School
of Foreign Service, Department of
Economics, for two years.
The Rev. Larson preached his
first sermon at the Klamath Falls
First Congregational Church at
the 11 a.m. Worship Service Sun
day. The church is located at 2160
Garden Avenue.

to develop stable and palatable
forms of milk powders and con
centrates, states County Agent C.
A. Henderson.
It Is anticipated that these pro
ducts wul do for the dairymen
what frozen concentrates have
done for the orange grower. The
USDA oeueves that tasty Whole
milk that will keep well in stor
age win lead to marked increases
in the use of milk.
At present a new evaporated
milk of highly pleasing flavor has
been developed but this product
nas some tendency to jell in stor
age. The researchers believe that
they can find an answer to this
problem.

397, E. A. Christenses 285, and
Samuel A. Tallerlco 136.
Lloyd, incumbent, has been re
named mayor, and Dickson re
places Gibson.

back from the British Isles, report
that Hit English are wacky for
Westerns.
"I must say we were highly
gratified," eayu Roy, who la billed
as "the King of the Cowboys."
"We played In Edinburgh, Glas
gow, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bel
fast, Dublin and a week in London
with Billy Oraham. All the aeats
were filled at every performance."
"And as much standing room as
the fire departments would allow,"
adds Dale Evans, "the Queen of
Uie West."
"In Glasgow, the manager said
we could have played for a month
and still sold out. We were there
for a week."
"It was the first time we had
been to the British Isles," says
Roy, "and the people couldn't have
been nicer. They love Westerns
over Ultra."
"And do they love horses I" re
marks Dale. "I don't believe there
Is any other country that lovas
horses so much."
I sat down to lunch with the
horse opera duo In between re
cordings of their new radio show.
Roy looked as youthful as ever,
despite his 10 years In the saddle
