Mrs. Bechdoldt Sr. Is coins to Red Bluff In a few days to visit ber daughter, Mrs. Maude Aronson. Mrs. May Barry is here from Fosslll. visltlnK her granddaugh ter, Mrs. Jesse McFall and family. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Barry and son of Merrill visited her and took her to Moses Lake, Washington, to visit a daughter, then brought her back to visit them in Merrill and Bonanza. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wakefield and children spent several days in Portland with relatives ana friends. 1 " Mrs. Ernest Oraves has turned to her home from Hillside Hospital where she was quite 111. Mrs. Lois Clark of Stockton is staying with the Oraves. Alice Oraves is still In Hilislde Hospital, very 111 with hipltitls. Friends wlsn them both a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Marchant and family of Grants Pass spent the weekend with ner parents, tne Lester Jones. They also visited the Bill Bumctts of Langell Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Pepple and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Leavltt re turned home Monday night in time to give blood at the blood mobile. They visited the Leavitt s son . in the Naval Hospital Rt Bremerton, Mrs. Popple's sister at Tacoma and the Deans of Port land. While at Bremerton they saw the U.S.S. F. D. Roosevelt, a ship so large it had to go around by South America to get to dry dock at Bremerton. . Mr. and Mrs. D. L. House and daughters of Bly spent the week end with his parents, the Elliott Houses. They all spent one day at Tulelake with the Don Ross family, who have recently moved to a different home in Tulelake. Before Time Began Gee. N, Taylor .' The meet ing was held at the Malin Masonic Hall at 8 p.m. Prosperity Chapter's worthy ma tron and natron. Doris and Jess Smith, called the meeting to order and their chapter's olllcers were seated in their stations. Alter open ing ceremonies Prosperity surren dered their stations to Aloha Chap ter No. 61, who In turn were fol lowed by Manzanita Chapter No, 172 and Cascade Crest Chapter, No, 159. Around 200 officers and members were seated in the Chapter room which was decorated with red roses on white trellises. Mrs. Irene McKinley, worthy grand matron of the Orand Chapter of Oregon, Portland, was special guest for the evening ana was es corted to the East, welcomed and given the grand honors. , Other honored guests introduced and escorted to the East were Bet ty Hunter, grand representative of Pennsylvania in Oregon; Kena urn ham, worthy matron and Raymond Owens, worthy patron of Aloha Chapler; Lois Gueck, worthy ma tron and Everett Blehn, worthy pa tron of Manzanita Chapter. At the close of the meeting each chapter's courtesy girls honored Mrs. McKinley with addendas and presented her with guts. Refreshments of sandwiches, cakes and salads, furnished by the different chapters were served bulfet style in the dining hall and in the main hall. Table decor tions In the dining hall carried out a music theme with staffs, notes and sheet music on tiny stands.
