the team at Sari's. Intra-mural
games are now being played dur
ing the boys' gym classes. The jun
iors beat the seniors and the fresh
men were defeated by the sopho
mores in the first series,

rived for good, Baseball has been
started by the girls' P. E. classes.

Sunday, February 28, is the date
set for the intermediate piano re
cital to be held in the auditorium
beginning at 2:30 p.m. Piano, viola,
violin and cello pieces are Included
in the program, along with several
songs by the Junior String Ensem
ble. The public is coraiaiiy inviiea.
Next issue of the 'Tinkle," soph
omore journalism class paper, will
soon be put out. The Tinkle staff
visited the Guide Printing Com
pany Tuesday afternoon to learn
the mechanics of printing.

February 12, the Altamont Stu
dent Council visited Fremont Stu
dent Council. The were royally en
tertained. ,
The last basketball game was
played February 19. The score was
38 to 30 in favor of Fremont.
There has been a total of eleven
games played during the basket
ball season. We won eight and lost
three.
The next National Assembly will
be to March. It is titled "Adven
ture In Electricity." The last one
will be April 13. It will be "Varie
ties." The Altamont Glee Club san Feb
ruary 22 at the regular meeting of
the Catholic Daughters.
Speech Day In Klamath County
will be held March 9 at Altamont
for the Junior High.
Bly Rancher
Dies At Home
Howard Phillip Hathaway, well
known rancher of the Bly area,
died about S a.m. . today at the
family home. Mr. Hathaway, a
resident of Klamath. County for 26
years had also farmed In the
i Spring Lake district.
County Coroner George Adler is
investigating the death.

Present Play
BONANZA The Bonanza Parents
and Patrons Club is giving its an
nual play at the auditorium March
4 and at 8 p.m. There will be
nu earlier performance for school
children the morning of March 4.
Reserve tickets are now on aale.

children both evenings of the play
so parents will not have to hire
a baby .sitter. The children's show
will be held in the school library.

Local Woman Dies Suddenly
Mildred Adeline Klum, wife of
Andrew A.' Klum of the Stewart
Lennox Addition, died at 3 a.m.
today at KWmath Valley Hospital.
She was 3s years old. She has
lived here for the past 11 years.
Mrs. Klum, mother of two young
daughters, Sharon Louise, 14, and
Patricia; 10, had been suffering
for some time from severe head
aches but her condition was not con
sidered critical. She became ill at
11 p.m. last night and failed to
rally from treatment.'
She was a member of the Stew
art Lennox Baptist Church and was
vice president of the Eagles Auxil
iary, Klamath Falls Aerie,. No.

Mrs. Klum was a native of Cald
well, Idaho.
Surviving, in addition to her im
