Crater Ski
Weekend Good
Skiing was excellent over the
weekend at Crater Lake National
Park. Despite the light snow which
was falling Monday morning, ran
gers said the prospect for good
skiing continues.
Sixty-six cars entered the park
over the weekend. There were 231
visitors, 103, of whom were skiers.
There was a total of two and
one-half inches of new snow over
the weekend, bringing the total on
the ground Monday morning to 65
Inches. A year ago today there
were 75 Inches on the ground and
two years ago the total was 150
inches.
One inch of snow fell during the
last 24 hours. Maximum tempera
tures during the period was 32;
minimum 22.
