maker's invention to vary the des-
sen course ol the menu for her
iamily. Our version here is much
quicker and easier to make but it's
just as rich with the flavors ot
spice and molasses a dessert
tnat is welcome in brisk weather.
INDIAN PIDDING
2'i cups milk
cup seedless raisins
V teaspoon cinnamon
teaspoon nutmeg
1 1 teaspoon gm'cr
y teaspoon salt
'i cup sugar
3 to 4 tablespoons molasses
ai cup wheat meal
Combine milk, raisins, spices,
salt, Miar and molasses in sauce
pan. Cook and stir over medium
heat until mixture reaches boiling
point. Add cereal slowly, stirring
constantly. Remove from heat.
Cover and let stand three minutes.
Stir to blend, Serve warm with
cream, ice cream, foamy sauce or
hard faucc. Makes 5 or six serv
ings, if desired, the pudding may
be kept warm over hot water.

bottle, pour some into a smaller
bottle or an atomizer, use a medi
cine dropper or a special tube
made for the purpose of transfer
ring perfume from one container
to another. In this way, you'll not
lose a single drop in the process.

per into the neck of the large bot
tle, twisting at the same time to
make it as airtight as possible. Seal
in the stopper by melting candle
wax at the place where the stopper
goes into Uie neck, then put the
bottle back into its original box
and store it in a cool, dark place
until you are ready to refill your
smaller container.

Dunaway said the agreement of
last year called for Rockefeller
to provide for his wife and their
son, Winthrop Paul, 4. trusts to

pet parakeet, George, flew out an
open window and perched in a
nearby tree. Snider, 45. edged out
on a slender limb to retrieve him.
Just as he grabbed the bird, the
branch Knapped. He fell eight feet
to the ground but held on to the
parakeet.
Doctors at Silver Cross Hospital
said Snider's condition was painful
but not serious. George didn't even
get a feather ruffled.
