pected that at least $475 million
will be spent for these Items dur

Measure sifted flour into sifter;
add baking powder, salt and
sugar, stir shortening just to soft.

teaspoon vanilla and beat 1 min

CHOCOLATE HARDWARE
While cake is baking, melt 'A
square candy-making or unsweet
ened chocolate with Vis teaspoon
butter. Draw off pattern for two
hinges like the top of the lock,
and eight corners. Place wax paper
over pattern and with the tip of a

lined part of patterns, covering
evenly. Chill In refrigerator. Place
in position on cake immediately
