lated in this country today purely
for political reasons."
Truman spoke to 1.000 persons

nation tribunal next week.

now 58, sought refuge at the Co
lombian Embassy in Lima, Peru,
Jan. 3, 1949. He has lived there
ever since, in a comfortable house
surrounded by a lawn, a garden
and the Peruvian police.

but it backfired the second time.
Klute, 78-ycar-old collector lor a

button which sounded like a buzzer

entered his office last week. The
man fled.
But the same bandit returned
yesterday and knew what to ex-Dect.

from the buzzer and the man beat

Then Klute was hit on the head.
The bandit escaped with $91 from
an open safe.
