Klamath Tribe
Groups to Meet
The executive committee of the
Klamath tribe is to meet In special
session ' Wednesday, Aug. 26. and
the general council will convene on
Auc. 27. according to an announce
ment from president of the council
S. E. Kirk.
Among other matters to be con
sidered by the two groups will be
the report of the tribal delegates
to Washington, reports by the
claims attorney and law and order
(tribal court). Enrollment matters
and welfare will also be taken up.
Pontiac Bends Fender
On Explosives Truck
An accident at the corner of
Main and Spring. Thursday about
3 p.m., resulted in a crushed right
fender to the Pontlao sedan driven
by Pearlle Dell Wolter. 2263 Garden.
The sedan. In making a right
turn onto Main from Spring, hit
the rear left wheel of a Freight
ways truck and trailer loaded with
explosives, crossing Main street in
tne same direction.
Gordon Brater, Redding, was
driver of the freight truck.

now open and awaits the regular
army enlistee qualified In any one
of -tne airplane, Helicopter, or
airframe mechanics specialties, lt

The current drive for enlistment
of qualified men In the newly
opened field of the regular army
is designed to meet the expansion
demands of the army aviation
maintenance program.
An applicant, for ' the regular
army enlistment and a position in
army aviation In one of three
mechanio categories must meet
one of the following qualifica
tions: .
Possess a diploma or' certificate
Indicating successful completion of
a course of study or training which
qualifies him for one of Uie me
chanics ratings from a school ap
proved by the Civil Aeronau
tics Authority.
Have a CAA license to perform
in one or more of the specialties.
Have served at least one year in
the service, performing the duty
of airplane, helicopter or airframe
mechanic.
