Lakevlew is also having a square
dance this year in connection with
their roundup. This dance will be
held Friday, Sept. 4, In Lakevlew.
Otto Ellis and B. M. Antle have
been asked to be on the program.
Tulelake Is also- planning a
street dance in connection with
their Labor Day celebration.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Addlngton

Wednesday, Aug. 6, in the Snack
room at the Armory. Four sets were
In attendance and delicious home
made pies were served by the hos

The Bonanza Community will
host a bencllt square danoe la Big
Springs Park Saturday evening,
Aug. 23. The proceeds will be used
to develop this popular playground.
Ray Garrison is in charge of ar
rangements.
A sassy, shortwlnded shower hur
ried the closing moments of this
weeks outdoor square dance. These
dances have been exceptionally
well attended and the next dance
will be Thursday Aug. 27, in Ki-
wanis park, callers for the evening
were Marianna Kerr, Shirley and
Bill Mayhew, J. c. Stanley and
Otto Ellis.
A Kolo festival Is slated for Lake
view, Aug. 35, to begin at 7 p.m.
John Filcich of Oakland will teach
the figures. To the uninitiated I
might say that Kolo is not a new
type of carbonated beverage but a
strenuous, athletic type of interna
tional folk dance.
