DORA BOYE, HM3 . . . Very smart in her U.S. Navy uniform,
is home on 30-day leave from the Bremerton Naval Hospital,
Bremerton, Wash., where she is an X-ray technician. Her par
ents are Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Oldsfield, 2351 Darrow St., and
she is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Schmitz,
Beatty. Dora has been devoting much of her time to her fav
orite pastime, fishing. Visiting old friends occupied her when
away from Sprague River.

annual Library Club fall style show
and luncheon September 14 in the
Willard Hotel was started in the
backyards of Margaret Larkin and
Leah Lamb's homes with Mar
garet and Helen Cox as co-hostesses
It was a casual comfor
table committee meeting almost
a neighborhood get-together with
only a couple from driving dis
tancethe hostess and Winnie
Hooker Bea Meade Sally Kent
and Meta Gilbert spent the pleasant
hour In sociable discussion of plans
for the fall event the theme of
which incidentally is "Indian
Summer" very appropriate that's
one thing KP HAS! We can't help
feeling that a group meeting in
backyards shared congenially by
neighbors with no dividing line
will have nothing but smooth suc
cess Sept. 14.
