Rosemarie Bair, daughter of Mrs.

Mrs. Michael Noonan, Merrill, ex
changed marriage vows in a serv
ice read by the Rev. William S.
Stone.
Sue Vandenberg, organist, ac
companied Ellen Sullivan, who was
soloist for the wedding.
The bride, given in marriage
by her brother, Joe Bair, wore a
gown of nylon net and Chantilly
lace over satin, waltz length; with
a fitted brief jacket of Chantilly
lace, long sleeved, and styled with
a- peterpan collar, seed-pearl
trimmed. Her three-quarter length
veil of illusion was held in place
by a Chantilly lace Juliet cap.
She carried a prayer book cen
tered with stephanotis and lilies-of-the-valley,

maid of honor, wore white nylon
tulle over white taffeta printed
with pink rosebuds. She carried a
bouquet of pink and white carna
tions, which carried out the color
scheme used in the pink and white

Square Dance
Draws Some 300
To Kiwanis Park
The first square dance in the
Klamath Callers Council City
Recreation Department sponsored
series at Kiwanis Park on the
"Slab'V was a smashing success.
Ten squares or to the unitiated
80 participants danced before a
crowd of over 200 spectators.
The KC and IC donated their
talent for the evening; Brick
Leach furnished the lighting la
cilities; and Tom Orr, the sound
equipment and music.
Tom Orr was master of cere
monies and called; and the fol
lowing called at least one dance
during the evening: Maryanna
Kerr, who Is chairman of the
summer program: Jiminie Wamp
ler. Bill Mayhew, John Stanley,
Otto Ellis and Shirley Mayhew.
Next session scheduled for Aug.

McKeever of Cutler city was the
honored guest Wednesday after
noon, July 29, when Mis, Guy Stai-
ger entertained at 1 patio parly for
Chiloquin women who have lived
in the vicinity since the li'20's.
The women spent most of the
afternoon visiting, starting each
new topic, "Remember when
. . .?" Those attending were Mrs.
Roy Gienger Sr., Mrs. Henry Wolff,
Mrs. Ted Markwadt, Mrs. Earl
Greear, Mrs. Fred Markwardt,
Mrs. J. E. McCain, Mrs. Floyd
Ohles and Mrs. Walter Zimmer

Keever of Fort Klamath and Mrs.
Robert Hall Sr.
The McKcevers lived in the ir
rlgation headquarters south of Chil
oquin for many years, leaving
that position in 1932. They spent
part of the next few years in this
vicinity before moving to the const.
It has been nearly seven years
since the honor guest has visited in
Klamath County.

A group oi baaseball enthusiasts
accompanied the "Sons of Nor
way" junior baseball team, to
Yrc-ka. recently, where they
played the Daily News team of
the California Pons' League. They
also attended the Hilt-Yreka 1 North
ern California League) game at

Mills, cousin of the bride, played

solemnised the vows.
The pretty bride, given In mar
riage by her grandfather,, was
charming in a .navy blue linen
suit, complemented with white
accessories. Her corsage was of
white carnations and stephanotis.
Darlene Wlnebarger attended her
sister as bridesmaid, wearing a
sheer, plnk-plald dress and white
accessories. She wore a corsage
of white carnations and pink rose
buds. Archie Siumbaugh served
his brother as beet man.
For her granddaughter's wed-
blue suit and white accessories.
Her corsage was of pink rosebuds.
Mrs. Stumbaugh wore a light tan
suit, with yellow and pink tea
rose corsage, and while acces
sories. . ;
At the reception, which followed
the nuptials,, the table was deco
rated with brown and yeuow flow
ers and yellow candles oh a brown
cloth. Central note was the three
tiered wedding cake adorned with
yellow rose buds. Mrs. Harlan Col
lins presided at the punch . bowl:

class of '53. Lilt was graduated
from there in 1851. She attended
the Children's Hospital School of
Nursing, San Francisco, and Arm
strong's Business College.

at 4 p.m.
As the young couple knelt on' a
white satin pillow before a back
ground of white tapers and gladi
oli. Will Hilgert sang "The Lord's
Prayer." .
The petite bride was given in
marriage by her father. The bodice
of her gown was of nylon-lace and
was fashioi4 with long pointed
sleeves, button back and a sheer
yoke with jewel neckline, edged
with an applique of the lace. The
skirt was of nylon net over satin
with a chapel train. Her linger Up
veil of illusion net feu from a aain-
ty tiara ot peals. On a white Bible
she carried a shower arrangement
of white Ell roses.
Attending her were her sister,
Mrs. Bruce Harlan, as matron of
honor and Mary Sullivan of Port
land, as bridesmaid. Mrs. Harlan
wore Oaorl blue and carried an
arm bouquet of white carnations
and blue delphinium. Mary . uui
van wore blush pink and her flow
ers were white carnations and pink
roses. They wore small arrange
ments of the same flowers in tneir
hair. Their bouffant satin frocks
were similarly styled with stoles
and overskirts ot nylon net.
James Stewirt, brother-in-law of
the bridegroom was best man.
Ushers were Dr. Norman Caroth-
ers, Robert Alger, Ben Vernon and
Don Ktstner.
Traditional wedding music was
played by Mrs. Herbert Sander
son at the organ. Preceding the
ceremony Will Hilgert stil

For her daughter's wedding Mrs.
Briscoe chose a dress of powder
blue lace and crepe with . navy
velvet trim and accessories. Mrs.
Dalen wore natural shantung with
French blue accessories. Their

tifully arranged garden flowers In
the reception room of the church.

baugh, late in June at the home of the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Deloi Mills,
1201 Eldorado Avenue. The candlelight service was read in front of the fireplace by the Rev.
Galen Onstad, rector ef St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Both are members of well known Butt
Valley families and they are now at home on a ranch near Dorris.

Force, where he had served one
year when the United States en
tered World War II. He joined the'
U. S. Naval Corps, serving ; lof
three and one-half years.
