On Harry Killed

served on former President Hairy
S. Truman to explain' why Ihe
United States entered the Korean
conflict was quashed Monday in
U.S. District Court. -
The subpoena, served by Fyke
Farmer, Nashville, Term,; at
torney, and leader In a world
peace movement, had directed the
former President to produce cer
tain records of his administration.
But Judge Albert' A. Ridge held
that Truman had submitted an af
fidavit to the court saying he was
not now In possession of these
documents and they are in control
of the government. '
At the same time the judge
stayed the taking of a -deposition
from the former President until
a Federal Court in Nashville rules
on a motion to dismiss the damage
suit brought by Farmer against
the government. '
