but all in fun. The other, comedy,
"Merchant of Venice," is rela
tively free of violence.

Roy C. Watson
Rites Held

the lumber industry here since
1935, died following a brief Illness
on July 8. . ,

the time of his death was with the
Paimerton Lumber CO.
Mr. Watson was a member of the
local Loyal Order of Moose Loage.
Funeral services were held today
from O Hair's Memorial cnapei,
p.m.. with last rites and interment
in Klamath Memorial Park.

West Coast Airlines' route necessi
tated a change In crew bases. Port
land has been designated as a per
manent. base for origination ' of
three dally round trips to Klamath
Falls and two, dally round trips to
Bolsei WCA. is transferring eight
flight crews and their families to
Portland for that purpose.
Regulations governing maximum
daily pilot time made it impossible
to fly the route' with Seattle and
Boise-based crews.
WCA announced it will be hiring
seven flight stewards to be based
in Portland. Interviews will be July
14 In the WCA ticket office, 4th
and Oak, Portland, for young men
21-28 who are high school gradu
ates. -
Mrs. Hotchkiss,
Davis Creek. Dies
LAKE VIEW. Ore. Mrs. Mar
tha, Adaline Hotchkiss, -resident of
Goose Lake Valley since 1875, died
In Lakevlew Thursday, at 88. She
was 10 years of age when her par
cuts' moved the family from Miss
ouri to Davis Creek, Calif., at the
south, end of Goose Lake..
Funeral services for this pioneer
mother were held at 8 p.m. Satur
day, from the chapel of the Ous-Icy-Osterman
Mortuary with the
Rev. Gordon C. Griffin officiating.
-Interment was in the family plot
at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Hotchkiss was born Martha
Adaline Sullivan at Concordia Mo.
In 1875, the family came west toy
train to Reno then by wagon to
Davis Creek.
The pioneer girl-married Jason
Hotchkiss and settled at Valley
Falls. They were the parents of four
children; They were Andrew,-who
died In 1922. Plumas W. Hotchkiss,
Lakevlew. Mrs. Mabel Ross. Lake-
view, with whom Mrs. Hotchkiss
was making her home at time of
death. - ,
In addition to her three children,
Mrs. Hotchkiss is survived by five
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her husband died In 1937.
